Before I founded Adria Intel, I worked as an analyst at Kontali, where I immersed myself in the entire seafood value chain. Whether it’s seabass, seabream, yellowtail, barramundi, shrimp (but also trout, salmon, tuna, groundfish and other), I’ve helped track market trends and build models that make sense of trade flows and industry dynamics. Along the way, I was responsible for several key publications, as well as managed EUMOFA project on behalf of Kontali, providing data and insights on the EU market for fisheries and aquaculture products.
I have a proven track record in producing in-depth studies and reports on a range of topics within the fisheries and aquaculture industries. These include value chain analysis for specific products, price analysis, catch analysis, value-added products, market developments, and detailed insights by country, region, RFMO, and species.
Before that, I spent two years at Capgemini in Norway, gaining valuable experience in digitalization, business transformation, machine learning, and AI.
My academic background includes research at the University of Oslo on how fishing and climate change affect fish stocks of Noth East Arctic cod and Norwegian Spring Spawning herring, along with time spent at the Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries in Croatia, contributing to ecosystem-based management projects.
